About builds and multiple Elite-Skills - Guild Wars Forums

This might be an awful stupid questions to all you pros out there, yet it somehow bugs me. I've been looking at many a two builds around illusionary weaponry and there is one thing that i don't understand.

See let's take this build here, taken out of one of the build reviews on this site...

Mesmer/Warrior

Illusionary Weaponry {E}
Arcane Conundrum
Sprint
Savage Slash
Disciplined Stance
Distracting Blow
Flurry
Hundred Blades

Looking nice and good so far. But there are a few things i don't understand, and it is not about the build itself, but about the two elite skills that are used in it.

Illusionary Weaponry and Hundred of Blades. Those are both Elite Skills and i tried like a madman but i can't use both of them at the same time. I thought it might be a lil thing that got fixed in a while, but looking at basically every illusionary weaponry build out there... hundred blades was in it as well as iw.

So uhm... O_o
I don't get it. Is there a way to get both elite skills working at the same time? Are these builds just useless now (in regards of hundred of blades) or what is it i am missing?

Another thing i noticed, Savage Slash doesn't interrupt Spells or Skills anymore when used with iw... if iw is of, it does. With iw active, it doesn't. hrm.. Just clueless at the moment, thanks for your help

Yep! Only way you can get more than 1 elite skill at a time is if you just stole it via a signet.

and then it will not let you keep it there when you get back to town and try to enter a mission

All of these builds show HB because it wasn't an Elite. It was made elite the BWE before release I believe. So, the builds using it were mostly developed before that time. Now, there are creative ways to get to be able to use it, but mostly it requires two players.

Anyway, most of the IW builds use something like Cyclone Axe now.
